Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. John 6:32-34

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psa. 28:7

When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. Isa. 59:19

We may boldly say, The LORD is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Heb. 13:6

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psa. 27:1

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. Psa. 125:2

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. II Cor. 6:17

Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where.... even as the garden of the LORD. Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; but the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly. Gen. 13:10, 11, 13

[The Lord] delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked. The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations. II Pet. 2:7, 9

Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. Rom. 14:4

Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart. Psa. 32:11

The righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe. To declare ... at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Rom. 3:21, 22, 26

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Phil. 4:4

It is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Heb. 10:4

Jesus said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Mark 14:24

By his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Heb. 9:12

Peace through the blood of his cross. Col. 1:20

Ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold.... but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.... manifest in these last times for you. I Pet. 1:18-20

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: ... from all your idols, will I cleanse you. Ezek. 36:25

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience. Heb. 10:22

He who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth (Heb. The Amen); and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth (The Amen). Isa. 65:16

When God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself. For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife. Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us. Heb. 6:13, 16-18

These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness. Rev. 3:14

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. II Cor. 1:20

Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever. Amen, and Amen. Psa. 72:18, 19

When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Prov. 16:7

I wait for the LORD, my soul cloth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Psa. 130:5, 6

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psa. 34:4

The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them. Deut. 33:27

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. Jer. 17:7

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Rom. 8:31

Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down; he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not. Job 14:1, 2

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. John 14:16

The Father ... shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever: the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name. John 14:26

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. II Cor. 1:3, 4

If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. I Thess. 4:14, 17, 18

The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Psa. 19:8, 10

Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass. James 1:22, 23

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:6-8

We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. Isa. 64:6

There is none righteous, no, not one. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood. To declare ... at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Rom. 3:10, 23-26

I and my Father are one. The Father is in me, and I in him. John 10:30, 38

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one. John 17:23

The Church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Eph. 1:22, 23

Having ... these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. II Cor. 7:1

But ye shall not be so:but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. Luke 2:24-27

Even the Son of man be ministered unto, but to give his life a ransom for many. Matt. 20:28

Jesus riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. John 13:3-5
