They said, ... It is manna: for they wist not what it was. Exo. 16:15

Without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh. I Tim. 3:16

The bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. John 6:33

Your fathers did eat marina in the wilderness, and are dead. John 6:49

If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. John 6:51

My flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. John 6:55

The children of Israel ... gathered, some more, some less. He that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack. They gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating. Exo. 16:17, 18, 21

Take no thought, saying, What shall we eat: or, What shall we drink? Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matt. 6:31-33

The free gift is of many offences unto justiflcation. Rom. 5:16

Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isa. 1:18

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. Isa. 43:25, 26

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. Isa. 44:22

God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. Rom. 5:15

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. I Cor. 6:11

Occupy till I come. Luke 19:13

The Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Mark 13:34

Unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Matt. 25:15

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. John 9:4

Wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? Luke 2:49

Leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps. I Pet. 2:21

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. II Tim. 4:2

Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it. I Cor. 3:13

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. I Cor. 15:58

The fruit of the Spirit is meekness. Gal. 5:22

The meek ... shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. Isa. 29:19

Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matt. 18:3, 4

The ornament of a meek and quiet spirit.... is in the sight of God of great price. I Pet. 3:4

Charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. I Cor. 13:4

Follow after meekness. I Tim. 6:11

Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart. Matt. 11:29

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Isa. 53:7

Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: who, when he was reviled, reviled not again.... but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously. I Pet. 2:21-23

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Luke 9:23

By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report. II Cor. 6:8

All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. II Tim. 3:12

The offence of the cross. Gal. 5:11

If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. Gal. 1:10

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye: but let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. I Pet. 4:14-16

Unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake. Phil. 1:29

If one died for all, then were all dead: and that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. II Cor. 5:14, 15

If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. II Tim. 2:12

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart. Psa. 27:14

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Isa. 40:28, 29

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isa. 41:10

Thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. Isa. 25:4

The trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:3, 4

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Heb. 10:35, 36

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. Psa. 23:2

The wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. Isa. 57:20, 21

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matt. 11:28

Rest in the Lord. Psa. 37:7

He that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from him own works. Heb. 4:10

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace. Heb. 13:9

That we ... be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. Eph. 4:14, 15

I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. Song 2:3, 4

Neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters. Exo. 13:7

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil. Prov. 8:13

Abhor that which is evil. Rom. 12:9

Abstain from all appearance of evil. I Thess 5:22

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Heb. 12:15

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. Psa. 66:18

Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. I Cor. 5:6-8

Let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup I Cor. 11:28

Let every one that nameth the name Christ depart from iniquity. II Tim. 2:19

Such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners. Heb. 7:26

In him is no sin. I John 3:5

The serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: ... your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Gen. 3:4, 5

I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. II Cor. 11:3

My brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Eph. 6:10, 11, 13, 17

Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. II Cor. 2:11

Sit still, my daughter. Ruth 3:18

Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted. Isa. 7:4

Be still, and know that I am God. Psa. 46:10

Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? John 11:40

The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. Isa. 2:17

Mary ... sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. Luke 10:39

Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. Luke 10:42

In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. Isa. 30:15

Commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Psa. 4:4

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Psa. 37:7

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. His heart is established. Psa. 112:7, 8

He that believeth shall not make haste. Isa. 28:16

What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. John 13:7

Thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. Deut. 8:2

When I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine. Ezek. 16:8

Whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth. Heb. 12:6

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. I Pet. 4:12, 13

Our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. II Cor. 4:17, 18

As the body is one, and hath many members, ... so also is Christ. I Cor. 12:12

He is the head of the body, the church. Col. 1:18

The head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Eph. 1:22, 23

We are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Eph. 5:30

A body hast thou prepared me. Heb. 10:5

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. Psa. 139:16

Thine they were, and thou gavest them me. John 17:6

He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world. Eph. 1:4

Whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son. Rom. 8:29

Grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: from whom the whole body fitly joined together, and compacted by that which every joint supplieth.... maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Eph. 4:15, 16

The fountain of living waters. Jer. 2:13

How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house: and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life. Psa. 36:7-9

Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty. Isa. 65:13

Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. John 4:14

This spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive. John 7:39

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters. Isa. 55:1

The Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Rev. 22:17

Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens. Lam. 3:41

Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high, who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth! Psa. 113:5, 6

Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul. Psa. 25:1

I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. Psa. 143:6-8

Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. Psa. 63:3, 4

Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Psa. 86:4, 5

Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do. John 14:13

Watchman, what of the night? Isa. 21:11

It is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Rom. 13:11, 12

Learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: so likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Matt. 24:32, 33, 35

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Psa. 130:5, 6

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly, Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Rev. 22:20

Watch.... for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matt. 25:13
