 All this guaranteed free speech under the constitution seems to achieve its intended purpose for show biz people, "PUBLICITY". This thread has helped it for the "Dixie Chicks".

Any one remember "Hanoi Jane"? When a career is on the skids showbiz jumps on the adverse political band wagon.

It is America after all and this freedom is guaranteed by us, for us, and of us in America.

One or two of American lives are lost evry day,almost, in Iraq

Yes they have  freedom to say what they want ,and we have the freedom to say what we want. 2 way street. BUT, when you are famous, by insulting your fan base, you get BAD publicity. The people who agree with them HATE their music, so they will not listen. The people who love their music HATE them now, so they will not buy their CDs. It was stupid on their part. In Dallas, Tx, at Lallpaousa(sp?) When a band tried to badmouth Bush, everyone would boo him. Rock fans don't like to bash Bush, so we know where country fans stand!

One or 2 America's lose there lives in a car wreck, why don't they protest for us to use more Public Transit? 1 or 2 America's die on a job site, why don't they protest to get all forms on non-cublicalite labor to shut down?
