Don't know if this is allowed, but I'm sure someone will be glad to tell me.
I need to talk to someone who doesn't know us. My husband is a pastor and he will not counsel with anyone. He has all the answers. Sad
I've lost the joy in my life. I try to be a good pastors wife and enjoy the job. I just don't like the way I am treated. Cry

We have no means to discuss anything except here on the open forum. Advice can be given over the net but proper counselling needs to be done in person. I would recommend a good Christian counsellor.

I need to get my name off the board so that I will be anonymous. I've been trying to figure out how to do it and can't seem to do it. I just want to change my signin name as there may well be someone who knows me on this list.

Hello Sister Billie,

The sign-in name isn't what matters, rather the name that is displayed. Click the button at the top of the screen called "Profile" and you will have access to your account information. Change the "Displayed Name" to whatever you want it to be. I'm almost sure that you must type in your password to do this. Click "Save" when you have what you want, and your name will be changed all over the forum.

Moderators don't have access to this, so it's something you will have to do. Click out of your Profile by hitting the "Home" button, and go to a recent thread you've been involved in to see the changes. If you need more help, there is detailed help information by clicking the "Help" button also near the top of the screen. You can quickly get to specific help information about what you are wanting to do by typing in "Profile" as a quick search term. After you look at your profile settings and find the displayed name block, you might not need the additional information from the help system.

Sister, I'm very sorry to hear about the problems. I will be praying for you.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Matthew 1:23 NASB  "BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL," which translated means, "GOD WITH US."

It's difficult to hear about your situation, but counsel as you may know has to be desired and accepted.  I can say that Prayer, Praise and Worship are your most powerful assets; make sure you save time for the Lord and even some free time for yourself.

If you can do that, set some time aside for yourself to participate in things that bring you joy.  (speaking from experience)
