I was born in Moline, Il. Lived there 25 years, of which 3 was in Chicago, moved to Michigan for 8 years, then to Jackson, Ms. for 3 years, now have been in Dallas,Tx for 23 years.

I couldn't resist sneaking into the womens area for a sec. My family is all from the quad cities area. My grandparents were in Coal Valley and I still have an aunt and many cousins that live in Rock Island and Moline. |

You're joking, right?  I don't know which part you're in...but all of my winter came in November and stopped there, with just enough snow left over for me to get a vehicle stuck twice in December. The geese have already returned and the bulbs are coming out and we have moths pestering our windows and the air smells convincingly like Spring... Nevermind, I am cold.  Friday was 6 degrees F, with a wind chill of negative 15... |

 hMMM! That is a good question. I began life about 30 miles from Pittsburgh, Pa. In 1953 I got married and moved to Falmouth, Mass. while my husband was in the air force. Back to another town in Pa for a short time and moved 3 more times, same general area. I'll boil the rest down to the fact that I have moved about 35 times in my 75 years. I lived in different apartments in North Carolina a few times for short periods. Came back to Pa---again in quite a few different apartments. 12 years ago I finally settled down in a high rise in the town I was born in. I am so glad I will be settled forever when I get to go to my new mansion in God's Kngdom. I will never have to move again. Praise the Lord!!! What a day that will be. God is so good. "Soon and very soon, I'm going to see the Lord" etc---a song we used to sing. I'll fly away! Joan

Hi
I am from South africa. I was born here...moved to Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) where I grew up... back here after school. I met my hubby in a mission organization and have lived in Botswana, Mosambique and zambia. (I alsom stayed in Namibia before we were married)
We are back in south Africa now for a time of healing for me (Past abuse) and my older daughter (motor accident) We long to go back to the field, but that time will come.

Hellloooo! I'm from Canada eh! and noooo I do not live in an igloo and I don't speak french.  I live in the big city here. Grew up in rural canada on a hobby farm. But now the farm girl is with the city boy. I didn't think I would like it but I love it! I know its cause Big Daddy put me here and blessed me greatly!  |
