Ann Coulter faces voting probe Democrat prosecutor who investigated Rush Limbaugh to examine allegation
The same prosecutor's office that investigated talk-show host Rush Limbaugh for alleged "doctor shopping" and for carrying Viagra will now look into allegations of voting misconduct by another conservative media giant – Ann Coulter.
Palm Beach County Elections Supervisor Arthur Anderson, a Democrat, says he will refer the accusation that Coulter voted knowingly in the wrong precinct Feb. 7 in a town election to State Attorney Barry Krischer's office by tomorrow. Krischer is also a Democrat.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Anderson said Coulter, since the allegations surfaced, made "efforts to distract and divert focus on the process regarding this complaint."
"I did express my frustration to the state attorney in a recent meeting and warned him I may need his services," he said.
But Anderson also noted the voting rights of the best-selling author and WND columnist would not be rescinded for next week's election.
The focus of the probe has to do with the address Coulter reportedly used to vote in the February municipal election in Palm Beach. Her registration shows an address that is not hers, and she may have cast her ballot in the wrong precinct because she registered at the address of her realtor instead of her own homestead.
Knowingly voting in a wrong precinct is a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison, according to state attorney spokesman Mike Edmondson.
In July, Coulter's lawyer told the Post the commentator had applied to strike her physical address from official records. Florida Statutes allow narrow reasons to have an address erased, including exceptions for people in law enforcement, corrections, the judiciary, revenue collections and code enforcement. The law also provides hard-to-get exemptions for the victims of domestic violence or aggravated stalking.
According to supervisor of elections records, Coulter did not cast a Florida ballot in the September primaries.

If she actually broke the law then I agree that she needs to be prosecuted. In my estimate of this situation it seems that the Democrats are just attempting to silence a voice of dissension against them, especially since they are not doing anything about the many illegal votes that are going in benefit of the democrats.
