According to a Kerry aide the prepared statement was supposed to be:

"Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq."

And that he just left out the word "us". If this is so I would think it would qualify as what is referred to as a Freudian slip.

This man has no business being in government.  I think he would reintroduce commusism, as his beliefs lead me to think this. Sad
