I am proud of my American heritage and all that the American flag stands for, the men and women that died for us and the freedoms that we, Americans,  so enjoy. I am thankful to those men and women for without them we would not be able to worship our Lord and Saviour in the ways we do.  There is that though that transcends all of that, the family that we have as Christians, our brothers and sisters in Christ, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. For that reason the lyrics of this song touched my heart and I had to share it with you all.

 No Flags in Heaven

Red, White and Blue
by Carmen

Verse
Let nothing separate us. Let nothing here divide.
Let nothing come between, the bond we have inside.
Let the black and white unite, with the yellow and the brown.
Together we will stand and fight till the enemy comes down.

Chorus
I know the Red, the white and blue will last forever.
There’s nothing that America can’t do.
I said I’d fight with you and stand together.
Somewhere ‘tween the red the white and blue there’s me and you.

Verse
They may come against us, come from far and wide.
We’ll not be defeated cause God is on our side.
We can’t forget the families, the daughters and the son’s.
We owe them now to make it right; we won’t stop until we’ve won.

Chorus
The red the white and blue will last forever.
There’s nothing that America can’t do.
I said I’d fight with you and stand together.
Somewhere ‘tween the red the white and blue there’s me and you.

We will not back down.
We will not lose ground.
We will never fall, we’re America…America.

Chorus
The red the white and blue will last forever.
There’s nothing that America can’t do.
I said I’d fight with you and stand together.
Somewhere ‘tween the red the white and blue, (echo)
Somewhere ‘tween the red the white and blue (echo)
Somewhere ‘tween the red the white and blue there’s me and you.

Could I say something off topic? Not to sound disrepectful but what is red white and blue? A few countries flags are red white and blue.

Yes, that is true. However it has been recognized for a long time when referring to the old red, white and blue that it is the American flag that is being mentioned.
