Lol ive had this disc. in another section Fellowship, You name it, Why christian metal bands aren't recognized by Christian sites?
So ill just pretty much re-write what i wrote there save hyperlinking it cause i really cant be bothered!!!
Personally I cant stand "most" (but not all)  of the songs that Hillsong has produced i feel that so many of them are bland and tell the same story...they have very little depth. Most are more about i dunno pleasing God or something...they lack the strength and life that are present in hymn...i feel the old hymns are more like "real" peoples stories...real peoples pains and joys they are real not just words written down and sung...you can feel their pain and joy! never underestimate the power and value of the hymns! Dont get me wrong... Im not one of those elderly people that hate anthing new or anything like that...Im 20 and i love loud rock music and all that just as much as the next person but i thing that hillsong have turned their music too stream line with very little difference between the songs and very little meaning...I thing they have more songs for the amount of "story" asnd "realness" that they have in them...

I have a favorite song by Hillsong it's God is good, featuring Alvin Slaughter. I don't consider that song to be heavy metal.

Their earlier stuff were better, but i guess they are getting more people to church and getting them to have faith in God.
