CAST DOWN...BUT NOT FORSAKEN

Does a trial bring only victory,
When overcome without a fall?
Ney...a righteous man when wounded
May seem the soldier least of all.

Yea, if you think that bleeding soldier
Shall be conquered before long,
Behold… a righteous man when wounded
Rises seven times more strong

So if the battle be not ended,
Then the duel shall go on sore,
Till the victor alone is standing
And his enemy no more.

If we judge the end before it’s time,
We know not what we see.
If we look for but a moment,
We see what not shall be.

It may seem his end to you,
When in the air does fly his sword.
But while you looked away my friend,
T’was cast back to him...from the angel of his Lord.

So though a righteous man may seem
Cast down and overtaken.
And the world should turn away from him,
His God will not forsake ‘im.

Hi Doozer,

I'm lovin it.

Go ahead.  Knock me down.  But I'll get back up everytime.  The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer.  My God is my Rock in whom I put my trust.

Thanks for your words of encouragement.

your brother in Christ,
