I see that Australians like their coffee, too. I drink mine all day, at home and away, with sugar and cream.

???I'm from Aus and i am buggered. Well for starts i don't have coffee, but if i did i'd put milk in it. What is with the cream that you yanks have. is it the same as down here. the stuff that comes from full cream millk when you turn it into skim or low fat (I have no idea what you call your milk!), the stuff that you put on desserts or scones, oh wait you don't have scones or Pavalova, (by the way you are missing out heaps on that front). I went into the starbucks the otherday, yes i was also shocked to find one here i thought that it was only in america, and they asked for cream. That is why i'm confused i just wanted milk. Huh

Some people here call milk cream when it comes to putting it into their coffee. There is half and half, which is higher in the cream and there is just milk, then there is all the dry powdered stuff.

As for me, I was raised in a family full of farmers and hill folk. When we said cream it was the rich stuff that settles at the top of the jar when the milk separates.

I love coffee in many different ways:

Just plain black
With sweet and low (diet sweetener)
Some plain milk
Half and half - a heavier cream milk
Coffee-mate No Fat Flavors - cinnamon being my favorite

Coffee is my favorite drink, and the doctors are now saying that it's good for you. I'm glad since I drink probably 6 to 8 cups per day. I like the taste of coffee so much that I rarely use anything in it except for some sweet and low.

Coffee is the largest traded commodity throughout the world; yes, even greater than oil.
