Its not Gods fault we don't live in true victory see it as this:
Compare it to turning on a radio.
If you don't have it tuned to exactly the right frequency,
you won't be able to hear the station.
 It's not the station's fault.
 It's sending out signals perfectly.
The problem is, you haven't tuned in to it.

Christ is our life (see Acts 17:28; Galatians 2:20; Philippians 1:21; Colossians 3:4).
To become obsessed with anything other than Him is idolatry,
even if that other obsession is religious rules.
Perhaps the greatest danger in the American church is
that we have lost our focus on Jesus Christ
and have been focusing more on "Christian values;"
which is merely morality by another name.

"There are many dangerous trends pulling folks away from true Bible Christianity.
Many of the newer philosophies of ministry employ methods that are wholly carnal.
Some have adopted objectives that have not one line of Scripture to support them,
and some employ conduct that differs little from the world. "

We have so much to be thankful for every day.
God continually  provides for all our needs.
So let’s make Thanksgiving a  year-long celebration.

Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow.
The  same everlasting Father who cares for you today will
take care of you tomorrow, and every day.
Either He  will shield you from suffering,
or He will give you  unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace, then. Put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations.

Thanks be unto God for His wonderful gift:
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God
is the object of  the  faith; the only faith
that saves is His faith.

Spiritual Blindness

They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.

Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more.

Hi Paris,  my latest, and most likely, last moment of addressing members of the Church, the Body of Christ.  It has become an interesting experience to observe how fellow-saints in Christ Jesus, are becoming more lackadaisical, and seem to care less about their "real" relationship with God, through our fellowship with His Son. They seemed to be more interested in their "church," rather than The Church, and the time within their "denomination," rather that holding onto the ONENESS of the Spirit.  (But you already knew that).

Love and Agape to you and The Church of God, The Body of Christ.

Rick

Religion is detrimental to your well-being!  Religion is false! Religion is the reason why many unbelievers refuse God and Christ! Religion is dead!  Religion is Satan’s buddy!  Religion is destroying the faith of  many!  Religion was NAILED TO THE CROSS, AND THE ENMITY THEREOF! We who have trusted Christ are a New Creation which God did, and He placed us into the Body of Christ.

Therefore, it is the responsibility of each and every member of the Body of Christ to be a good soldier, and TO PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD, THAT  YE MAY BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND IN THE EVIL DAY, AND HAVING DONE ALL, TO STAND!  (Eph. 6:13)

Rest means to trust Jesus Christ as our Life-Source,
depending on Him to empower our
actions with His strength and direction.

Dear Father,

You know that I have sincerely tried to live as a victorious Christian. I have done my personal best, but now I realize that has been my problem-it has been "my best" that I've trusted, instead of Your life. I repent of self-sufficiency and affirm that from this moment forward I will trust You to live through me. I choose to rest in You, depending upon You to cause the power of indwelling sin in me to stay in remission. You are my Victory, oh Lord. For that fact, I thank You, Amen.

"In the Reformation there was, through grace, a great deliverance.
 The groundwork of Christianity was recovered;
namely, justification by faith. But though this was recovered,
it was not maintained that the old man was crucified on the Cross,
and hence they only refused the exactions of popery,
but recognized the flesh as still before God.
 Refusing the exaction was right;
but the retention of that in which the exaction could be made,
the old man, was the weakness of the Reformation."

Have you given thought to the grace you walk under? You never have to wonder if it’s okay to approach your Father; you don’t have to ask a priest/pastor to pray for you; you don’t have to go to anyone else to pray for your healing; you have direct access to your Heavenly Father. The welcome mat is always out for you. Let me hasten to say that there's nothing wrong with asking a priest or pastor to pray for you. I just want you to understand that it's not necessary; you have the same access to God as they do.

Rom 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this
present time [are] not worthy [to be compared]
with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Dr. Rogers is quoted:

“Friend, you cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom.  And what one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government can’t give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody. And when half of the people get the idea they don’t have to work because the other half’s going to take care of them, and when the other half get the idea it does no good to work because somebody’s going to get what I work for. That, dear friend, is about the end of any nation.”

Love The Truth

I love the truth.
I hate a lie.
Living a lie, we will die.
Jesus gave us the word of God.
The word of God is truth.
The word of God has set us free.
I was once blind, now I see.
For the grace of God has saved us.
I praise the Lord for this grace he hath set us free.
Jesus is the truth and the light.
He gave us life.
His Glory is so Bright.
For the Glory goes to Jesus Christ.
Let's not let be taken away.

In His grace and love, Paris
