If we look at life through the lens of our powerful and good God, we’ll trust Him instead of fearfully worrying. When our perspective is right, we can see God and His faithful provision. —Anne Cetas

As Christians, we know that the ability to think is a God-given gift. But sad to say, we can misuse it by entertaining thoughts that are vulgar, foul, and mean. Paul told us to meditate on whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, virtuous, praiseworthy, and of good report (Philippians 4:8 ). Lord, help us to discipline our thoughts. — Herbert Vander Lugt

True thanksgiving means that we need to thank
God for what He has done for us,
and not tell Him what we have done for Him.

Rest means to trust Jesus Christ as our Life-Source, depending on Him to empower our actions with His strength and direction.

"THE EARTH IS THE LORD'S AND THE FULNESS THEREOF"--- IT SPEAKS OF HIS GREATNESS, IT SINGS OF HIS LOVE, AND EACH DAY AT DAWNING I LIFT MY HEART HIGH AND RAISE UP MY EYES, TO THE INFINITE SKY....... AND SO I GIVE THANKS AND MY HEART KNEELS TO PRAY--- "GOD KEEP ME AND GUIDE ME AND GO WITH ME TODAY."

While we are to be encouragers to each other, only Jesus can look into the hidden corners of our hearts and see the tears, frustrations, heartaches, loneliness, terror and agony that we keep hidden from people. Only Jesus can heal a broken heart and restore our joy. -- Joanne Lowe

Today, many of us own Bibles, but are we changed by the truths found there? We are called to read, hear, and obey His Word. It should cause us to take immediate action to bring our lives into harmony with God’s desires. —Marvin Williams
