Greetings all,
My wife and I are publishing a new Christian magazine here in the North Dallas area. We are in need of some articles about Christian Men, Women, Children, Marriage, and Finances. We would also like to include some inspirational and devotional articles.

You can email us at editor@kidstreasures.net

Thank you and God bless!

My wife and I are starting this as a gotcha187, so making a profit will obviously be one of our goals.  Our main goal is to use this magazine as a ministry.  To start off, we are going to print 15 to 20 thousand magazines and distribute throughout the North Dallas area.  Some will be mailed to designated zip codes and some will be delivered to certain locations.  The way the magazine will make its money is by selling ad space to local businesses and church's.  Our main focus for this magazine is to reach non-christians.  We are looking for articles that are christian based and that are not directed towards any certain denomonation, ie. Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, etc.
We would like articles that both christians and non-christians would be inspired by.

If you would like any more information please contact us at editor@kidstreasures.net

Thank You!

My husband and I have been tossing around the very same idea of starting a Christian magazine. I have done some freelance writing and written several screenplays (almost but not quite produced) but have no experience in publishing. Would you simply gather your material and take it to a printer? Does the printer organize the material for you? We have no idea how much capital we would need up front. In essence, how would we get started?

Please-feel free to post the guidelines, theme list if you're using one and fee schedule. It sounds like a neat magazine!

Curious,
I'm not a freelance writter. But I'm interesting in the mag. Can you tell me more about what Freelance writer do, or how they become one?
