As long as the posts are 4x4 related......they say its OK, but 98% of mine are related to 4x4's and or offroad events. Even at that I do detect some resentment, and second hand comments about post counts. They don't say anything directly since the posts are relevent but they have a problem with me haveing "too much time on my hands" I have been fishing and found at least one believer.......and looking for more  I won't stop till they make me I'm already a club member and have several "alies" within the club, so getting rid of me will not be easy. Just trying to build more relationships and pass on the news! Rookie!! |

Here is the responce to my request to "hide" my post count..............with inappropriate temanology altered Sorry Gary - but you can't hide from your post count. I know there are a handful of boards that don't use it, but most boards do and we will continue to use it here. Post counts are helpful to people in determining the expertise of a person answering a question, the validity of the response and if a user is a very active member or just a post w****. This is just a case in point, and why I feel like just because I enjoy conversation, it hurts my credibility on the site, and why I wanted to hide the post count. I guess as long as I still stay withn the "relevent comments" spectrom, the truth will set them free |

If they had access to the over 20 posts so far today......on this site, the less than 10 on that one and the dozen or so emails so far........... what would thaey think of me then  some people just need something to complain about I guess |
