Matthew  21:33   "Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
21:34   And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
21:35   And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
21:36   Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
21:37   But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
21:38   But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
21:39   And they caught him, and cast [him] out of the vineyard, and slew [him].
21:40   When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
21:41   They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out [his] vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
21:42   Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
21:43   Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
21:44   And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
21:45   And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

Hello Northstar,

Israel rejected God, not the other way around. We must also remember that God's chosen nation, Israel, worshiped other gods and idols in the Old Testament. Almighty God gave them many chances in the Old Testament, and God isn't through with Israel yet, even though Israel rejected JESUS CHRIST as "THE CHRIST", "THE MESSIAH".

GOD does not force people to accept HIM, and there is obviously a price to pay when one rejects GOD. If we reject GOD, we certainly can't expect to enjoy the benefits of being a child of GOD.

Love In Christ,
Tom

1 Corinthians 2:2-5 NASB  For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

Christians today should revisit their unconditional support for Israel, if God himself does not offer it. Lest haply they be found fighting against God, like Gamaliel himself warned his peers in the Sanhedrin.

"He that hath the Son hath life, he that hath not the Son hath not life, but the wrath of God abideth on Him.'

"God is no respector of persons".

Actually, Isreal up to the time of Malachi did come back to honoring the prophets, at least they were dead, but then their rulers disrespected John the Baptist and then of course their own Messiah. How can they be God's people if they crucify him afresh every day?

Tell you what though, when they do become Christians, they set the best example for the rest!

Hello Truthsayer,

WELCOME!

I look forward to reading your posts and having fellowship with you.

Regarding your post, I understand your thoughts, but I also know that GOD isn't through with Israel. If you look at Bible Prophecy, Israel will be the center stage for events after this Age of Grace.

All who bless Israel will be blessed, and all who come against Israel will be damned. GOD has been punishing Israel and still is. Israel's worst punishment is yet to come, but JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF will rule and reign over the earth from the Throne of David in Jerusalem for 1,000 years following HIS Second Coming.

In HIS First Coming, JESUS CHRIST was made manifest in the flesh as a Jew, and there was a reason for that. Israel was and still is God's chosen people. All Christians are members of God's Heavenly Kingdom and the BODY OF CHRIST, but JESUS CHRIST hasn't claimed HIS Earthly Kingdom yet. It is promised in the Holy Bible that HE will claim HIS Earthly Kingdom as KING OF THE JEWS and Ruler over the Earth. Israel will be restored and JESUS CHRIST will claim what was always HIS, the Throne of David.

GOD HIMSELF will handle the punishment of Israel, not me. I will always support Israel and never lift a finger against God's Chosen People. I believe God's Promises 100% that HE isn't through in HIS dealings with Israel. I could conclude my thoughts with: if I were ever forced into a war with Israel, I would fight on the side of Israel.

Love In Christ,
Tom

2 Corinthians 3:2-3 NASB  You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
