By the way I noticed my next door neighors have a pineapple growing in their yard, ...... ....... ahem...... I quickly introduced myself to them

Pineapples YEAH I love pineapples I think I will grow some in my yard infact not one or two maybe 20 or even 30

My wife likes all animals. We had a field mouse get in the house one year. She went so far as to feed it and refused to let me trap it. Next thing we knew we had a whole family of them and they got into her sewing patterns. When she found them chewed up she changed her mind real quick.
Pineapple upside down cake. I love it. I have my own recipe for it but you have to be a pineapple lover to eat it.

Next time you get a chance take a standard cake mix, yellow or white. Replace the water it calls for with pineapple juice reducing the amount by 1/4 cup. Add drained crushed pineapple and drained chunk pineapple. Place pineapple circles and brown surgar in the bottom of the dish then pour cake batter over it and bake according to directions.
You have to reduce the amount of juice per water amount because of the juices already in the pineapple.
