This would be why my wife and I  bought an 8.6 acre lot in the city Grin

I love the country. This house was truely a gift. We just "happend" to drive by the day the sign went up and the seller just "happened" to be a family friend Grin

That depends on how small the city was. I was raised in a very small farming city. Anyone raised there knew what farming life was all about. The only work available for teens was on the farms.

I've seen a lot of city folk that say that but when it comes down to actually handling it they have a problem. They can't deal with the long travel times to get to Drs, hospitals, grocery stores and such. Many get discouraged and move back to the city.

Not me I only get out of the house to go to Church, Dr appt, labs, and shopping. So I love getting out of the house.  Grin Grin
Our church is a half hour's drive, so I don't ming that, and I have a deep freeze I can stock up on frozen foods, and on groceries, and I can do what DW does, plant and can.  Grin  Grin
