Brothers and Sisters I just received this wonderful news in my email and just had to share it with all of you.

Mactan Air Base—by Major Jing Ebol, Jr., PAF

On behalf of my family and friends here at the Mactan Air base, Philippines, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your continued support through prayer for our family and fellowship.  God has graciously answered our every request.

Last week we had a very successful retreat with the helicopter wing.
85 enlisted personnel from our wing attended the retreat and they all received the Lord as their Savior.  This was the first retreat of its kind here.  We were so blessed!  I cried when I saw these souls receive the Lord as they responded to our invitation to come forward and surrender their lives.

The very next day I began to receive feedback not only from those who attended but also from the other commanders who were asking us to host the same activity for them as well.  Many were sharing how their lives had been changed after the retreat.  I am so blessed that God answered my prayers to reach out, touch and draw all the soldiers on the base to the Lord.

We now are planning to establish cell groups in every unit.  We want to introduce these new believers to basic Bible study and prayer.  I know God is using us, and the harvest in the military is moving very fast now.

We experienced an unexpected blessing recently; the Commanding General visited our chapel fellowship.  I had the opportunity to share our vision for ministry with him.  I also had prepared an estimate for the proposed renovation of the chapel building for what I thought would be informational purposes only.  The total cost amounted to P420, 000.  I thought it was an impossible sum.  When he saw the request with the complete estimate, he immediately approved it!!  I shared with the congregation that I have but a little faith and our great and wonderful God moved the mountain!  I wanted to share the news with you who prayed so that you could be part of the wonderful blessing from our Lord and Savior.
