We "lay hands" on others when we pray--or some of us do. However, no one falls on the floor and begins screaming, "I am healed" or anything. It is a way for us to pray for the person, touching them as we do. We don't SLAY anything, but intercede in prayer, in the Name of Jesus!

When I hear of these "brigades" of falling people on stages (yes, stages==aka..baskets sent around for more money to "heal"..so unJesus-like), such as the Benny Hinnn-der, I think of how the Bible tells us of FALSE PROPHETS. Get some snakes and claim you are healed. It is the same thing.

Now, GOD works miracles. God, ALONE works miracles. We pray to God for these miracles, but we DO NOT cure, heal or save anyone. God does. We don't need to LAY HANDS on anyone--God's Mighty Hand is enough. We are simply His Vessels, but God does all the Work by answering our prayers, in His Perfect Timing and with His Perfect Will.

Amen Sister Kelly,

GOD does exactly what HE Will in the Heaven and on the earth. ALMIGHTY GOD is in complete charge, and no man should limit or try to define HIS Power and how HE alone decides how to use that Power. As HIS Children, we should simply know that HE loves to hear our prayers, and HE Will grant what is according to HIS Perfect Will. Again as HIS Children, we should know that HIS Will for us is definitely the best for us. We should humble ourselves when we pray and ask that our petitions of prayer be granted according to HIS Perfect Will. We should also know how wonderful it is that GOD even allows us to approach the Throne of Grace of the KING OF KINGS! SO, our requests in prayer should be humble and reverent.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Colossians 2:2 NASB  that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself,
