 TOO BUSY NOT TO PRAY

I was so busy....today,
I had no time...to kneel and Pray,
No time...to hear of someone's need,
No time...to do a good deed.

No time...to read the Bible,
No time...to be idle,
No time...to sing a Hymn,
No time...until the day became dim.

Now....what was I to do?
Things troubled me...all the day through,
I was unable to get my work done,
The day....now...was not fun.

I let my work stop....for today,
I took time....to kneel and Pray,
I took time...to smile,
Things went better...in awhile.

I took time...to think of Jesus,
And of all He has done for us,
I thought of the Cross...and Calvary,
I am so Thankful...He has time for me!

Praise His Holy Name, He always has time for Us

AMEN brother!!  I'm never busy enough, to pray for those needing prayer, or praising the Lord.

If I don't find time to pray, then how will I have the peace and  understanding, our Lord and Savior promised each day. For, without the peace and understanding how could I possibly face the problems of each day. Mostly I pray for peace and protection and to be given the opportunity and effective words to be able to witness, to whom I may reach. God Bless!

ISM, I see you are new, I would like o welcome you to CU.
I agree with you ISM, many, many nights I wake up in the middle of the night, I usually stay awake in the bed and pray for a while, other times I get up and pray. We all have time to pray, we all just need to make it a habit. Praying is not always about getting on your knees and trying to be religious, who are we trying to kid? Certainly not God !  Praying is communicating with God, no matter where you are, or what you're doing. I can pray to God when I am cooking, cleaning the house, even while I am eating yes  Cheesy chewing food, just saying Father this is  so good, thank You, that is a form of prayer. What I am trying to say is that we can and should always pray, at all times about everything. God bless you.
