We had to put my sister's horse to sleep this morning. Bun Bars was a few weeks short of 31 years; she colicked really bad last night and injured her intestine, even though the ranch manager stayed up with her all night long.

That is quite sad. At least she lived a good long life.

Morgans/Arabians, their names were, Sheik, Sunfire, Shawanne, and Sonny. Yes I know Morgans are work horses, but they were fun to ride.

Actually brother Morgans are more than just work horses. Yes there primary use may be a work horse but they are one of the most versatile horses there are. Excellant for pulling a plow, a wagon, or anything else as well as an excellant saddle horse. They are one of the few horses that can be taught for multiple uses. I used to own quite a few of them myself.
