GONNA GIVE YOU GOOSE BUMPS.

Who Walks With Us?

A young university student was home for the summer. She had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked "God" to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a shortcut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for "God's" protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped around her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a line up to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before.

When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her."

Moral of the story:

Don't underestimate the power of Prayer!

Gives ya goose bumps, doesn't it!

This is to all of you who mean something to me, I pray for your happiness.

All I could say is Wow, How great is our GOD!!
I've heard stories like this before and it never ceases to amaze me, and meaks me wonder just how close I might have been to danger and how (unknown to me) many times I have been delivered. Thank God for His faithfulness.

You turned yourself in air. That mistake slipped right by them so it was self incrimination that got you.   Wink Grin Grin

Brothers and Sisters,

I really think that all Christians have felt the presence of God at one time or another in their lives. I know that I have felt HIS Presence many times, and it was usually in times that I felt also in the presence of evil and death. I look back and feel very fortunate that I served on a police department that was nearly all Christian. We were authorized to have group prayer sessions before dangerous assignments just as long as we announced it and offered to let people leave who didn't wish to participate. I don't remember a time when anyone left. I remember many times that I or others made mistakes that could have cost our lives, and I FIRMLY believe that God intervened.

Ask a Christian soldier how many times he or she felt the presence of God. You might also ask a Christian soldier if they believe in the power of prayer.

YES, we serve an AWESOME GOD!, and all of us have felt his presence. Maybe we weren't sure at the time, but HE was there. Think about this for a moment and you will realize how amazing this is. Here we are, just one of many millions, YET the CREATOR of the UNIVERSE came to walk with us. NOTICE something here: nobody questioned whether the email story was true or not. I really don't know, but it doesn't make any difference because GOD HIMSELF has spared or protected me many times. The same is probably true for you. YET, the lost are asking us to prove that HE even exists.

Love In Christ,
Tom

By the way, you might have wondered about the picture of the guy with the binoculars. He is the Commander in Chief of the Homeland Security Spell Checker Police. He's here looking for airIam2Worship and TalkerCat.

Sisters, I'm afraid that it's one of those situations: you might as well turn yourselves in. Maybe both of you are old enough to understand the punishment. You will be given a Big Chief writing pad, a number 2 pencil, and instructions to block print the word you misspelled 1,000 times each.   Grin  Grin  Grin
