HOLY SCHNIKEES!!!!  Once again, there's more to read here than I'll ever be able to!  I'll go through 3 eyeglass prescription changes before I'd get through!  What's more, I gots ADD!  I've already lost interest in...hey, what's that...

Hello Allinall,

Grin  I really don't know or understand what's going on in this thread. I'm just here to hunt "Yacks". I understand that they're great deep-fried, Cajun style. BUT, I don't know what a "Yack" looks like, and nobody will tell me how to clean them for cooking!

Grin  SO, you are a YACK expert! Please tell me:

Are the older ones tough and stringy?

Are there different cooking instructions for he bald ones?

Does "YACK" on a stick sound like a reasonable marketing strategy?

Yup.  The old one's are real tough and stringy.  The middle aged ones have no meat on 'em, and the bald ones go rancid right after death.  The hair is a preservative.   Grin

As for the Yack on a stick...sounds tasty!  But you have to go for the young ones.  Like that one!  *Points at airIam2worship...and runs*

The old ones are tough. The middle aged ones are meatless. If your going to do it, get the young ones. <smack> juicy and tender.

Yack on a stick, sounds like a winner. Grin
