 Colin Powell submitted his resignation this morning, but will stay on until a replacement is found.

 This guy went from hero to zero didn't he?

If Rice wants the job, it's hers in my opinion.
I think John McCain would be great in this position, but it would hinder any chance of being President come next election for him.

I am sorry to see him go, but he was clearly on the outside of the administration so I was actually surprised he stayed this long.

I would agree that Rice is probably the front-runner.
