Daniel 12:

13   "But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age."

What is Daniels "allotted portion at the end of the age."

Daniel's allotted portion is the same rapture/resurrection we are waiting for.

John 11
23   Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24   Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
25   Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Daniel 12
1   And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2   And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Hi, John here; Good thread!
So far there is not much to the question to be 'real' sure on though? Perhaps Daniel was wondering about [his] 'allotted portion'?

Rom. 2:7 says: "To them who by patient [CONTINUANCE IN WELL DOING SEEK] for glory and honor and IMMORTALITY, ETERNAL LIFE". He must have not believed that it was a done deal? (seek?)

Then in Daniel 7:10 we see.. "the [JUDGEMENT] was set, and the [BOOKS were opened]." Starting in verse 9 it says.. "I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the [ANCIENT OF DAYS DID SET] .."

This reminds me of another post from Eccl. 12:13-14 of mans whole duty? "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the [WHOLE DUTY OF MAN]. For God shall bring [every work into JUDGEMENT], with every secret thing, whether it [be good, or whether it be evil]."  (both!?) Perhaps Daniel was trying to get some extra 'early' security knowledge from his life here? Smiley (all recorded in books Huh) He should have lived in our day when all believers have it 'secured', huh?

Well according to the books I'm seated in the heavenlies with Christ Jesus and the manifistation has not been exposed to me yet, but seated in the heavenlies is in the past tense and yet it is a future event for me.  It is good to know the eternal God and His eternal Son the Lord Jesus.

As far as Daniel, that is a good point that he may have been trying to get a peek at his name in the Lambs Book of Life

We are indebted to Daniel, the great Hebrew prophet, who asked the same questions we would ask about spiritual conditions during the end times. In his very important twelfth chapter he asked,How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be? and What shall be the end of these things? He was told that the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end (Daniel 12;9).
Then he was told something often overlooked by prophecy students about end-time events; Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly.
In other words, there is going to be an enormous divide at the time of the end between the many who shall become purified, made white, and refined and the wicked.Of course, the only way to become purified and made white is by the Blood of the Lamb. The wicked will stubbornly reject the Savior and continue in their wickedness.

God Bless.
