Saved_4_Ever : the divine protection wasn't there anymore, therefore it took place, and more will take place; [even fullfulling a lot of prophecy] but the persecution was/is very real IMHO

The suffering in some families is tremendous over there; most of them christian families; as the USA is still known to be a christian nation, and therefore a target.

Why do you think is the EU not attacked ? We're much more nicer to the Arabs and Palestine ppl.

In my idea the price of the EU will be much higher: we'll have to talk to the Lord about our sins; you, as the Israeli ppl, suffer in this world.

Here in the EU ppl are rich; our pitfall is wealth and riches and judging the state of Israel.

The EU is not attacked because it is the future kingdom of the Antichrist.

I know i have been attacked more on this forum than anywhere else. I was in a bible study last years that said if people don't hate you for your belief in Jesus then you haven't stood up for Him enough. So I decided to witness more this past month. Now I don't know if witnessing is for me. I do feel like a sheep going out to packs and packs of wolves. Then i think about Jesus being the ONLY Christian in His time. Not one single person understood His resurrection while He was alive. He was killed for His words, why should I expect not to be ridiculed? I guess i have to do it in small doses. But it re-enforces for me just how holy He was.

Although I understand your point, Jesus Christ was not a Christian.  He was Christ, not a "little Christ."

Persecuted for my faith?  You bet.  And, will that move me from it? No way.  It happens all the time.  This is when we should show our strength.

Here is all I need to know:

1. Secular Judges are sworn to uphold the law
2. When Secular Judges make this vow, he knows he will have to do things he doesn’t like, but it is part of the job as a Secular Judge.
3. The highest Secular law in the Secular land told him to remove a chunk of rock
4. The Secular Judge fought it every Secular way he knew how, and even though MILLIONS of Christians where praying for God to stop this, he didn’t.
5. The Secular Judge who swore to uphold the Secular law, broke the law.

You seem the believe that Judge Moore could not have possibly did it for fame because he was a nobody until the ACLU attacked him. Did you ever stop think that when the ACLU attacked him, he saw it as a chance to become famous?

Moore went through all the proper Channels, why did God not work though them? He has before, why hasn’t he interfered? You just have to ask your self why in this case. At the current moment, all Judge Moore has done is embarrasses Christians. Why does the ACLU fight though the courts, the legal way, while we have to break laws, and we still don't solve anything? Is that the way an All-powerful God wants it?
Good Post.

The removal of the stone did not violate any of God's will for man. That is the only time a person of God should not render to caesar what is caesar's. When the government asks one to violate God.

A godly person of the truth would have probably very quietly said, "take the piece of stone and do what you will as I am of God and those laws are written on my heart to be seen by all who witness my actions of life."

One of the reasons Christians are to assemble and gather together is to edify and strengthen one another and help one another with their individual shortcomings in the Lord. The assembly is more than just getting together and staring at the back of the head of the people in front of your seat.

A form of persecution I have been through is people that put one to the test as soon as they find out one is Christian. Then when one succombs to a temptation, being just human, they reproach one with, "oh look what he/she is doing and they are supposed to be Christian." Christians must watch their actions very carefully because it could cause someone to be lost. People think being Christian is being perfect in every thing and they will put one to the test and then throw it in your face.
It has also happened on this web site of "Christians Unite".

Jesus being under the Mosaic law during His time on earth was a jew and observed everything jewish. I don't think He would be considered a Christian per se. Believers in Him are Christian and they were first called that in Antioch.

I am sorry you have been hurt on Christians Unite Ollie.  I haven't had that happen to me here.  I find it a lovely website filled with kind loving folk.
Our main thing in life is to love one another. To pray, help edify and to just love people the way they are.  To give of ourselves in this manner is more than edifying.
I just let the men teach me on the forums.  I learn so much from what they have to say.  This also edifies me.  And, by their posts of knowledge, and common sense, I sense their love for humanity.
Our Father works in mysterious ways.  I don't believe in women throwing around their knowledge! But, I also learn from many women too.  Their input is gracious and kind.  If the input is a little harsh, I prefer to ignore it and just go and study one of the men's posts for a time.

Love...Tamara.

Tamara,
Were you here when the atheists were here? Did you engage in debate with them? If so, did you feel loved or persecuted by them?

No Heidi, I wasn't here.  And even if so, I would wonder why they chose to access a Christian Forum if they are athiests.
But I have watched these people carefully through their posts.
Some atheists post letters just to try to upset Christians.  I feel it's better to ignore these kind og people.
Other's may be wondering about us.  And they try to reach out to see why we believe.
If they start any rubbish as I have read in some posts.  I just turn my back and walk away.  They are not worth answering.
The bottom line is.  We choose to believe in God, and to accept by faith that Jesus is the Son of God.  That He came to this earth and died for us.
In today's world, there is so much evil, we have to walk on through it unscathed by keeping silent.
Some of these atheists could be on forums for black magic and witchcraft...many of them try to cast their spells of evil on christians.  Don't answer them before you pray hard Heidi.
Just go and read another post and let Father take control of your little fingers as you type. As Jesus said "MY SHEEP KNOW MY VOICE"

Love you Heidi,
Tamara.
