And adults, too, for that matter. It just becomes more complex.

Yeah, I know you like doing that. I have a favorite person I like to harrass, too! Smiley But we have to be tender with inner things, because those are the things we really feel.Cry

A big, spoiled baby.

But a NICE, big, spoiled baby.    Wink

Or anyone else, for that matter, tib.   Grin

Sym, I don't do it to elicit a response; it's just a reflection of a culture (climbing) that I enjoy. But the irony will be effective, you see. And it's partly being all things to all men in that way, although it will be a while before I can climb again.

I was once told that there's nothing God has made that the devil won't abuse. Well, if that's the case, there's nothing the devil can achive that can't be swiped out of his hands and returned to God. Valentine's day, for example, was a celebration of Valentine, a Roman cleric who gave his life for the gospel. This holiday has gone through secular reframing. Christmas. It's gone through secular reframing, although we've managed to keep hold of that. Well, I figure I'm going to swipe the devil's abuse out of his hands and use it to return glory to the Lord. Use the jolly roger in a way satan didn't intend. Use it to open a door for salvation.

No, it isn't sloppy; I'm pretty careful about my appearance. My shoes are polished, and I wear cologne. I don't wear pants that are worn out. I want to look attractive because I also want to talk to people and be available in a ministry sort
of way now. Not easy since people think of me as being very stoic in the real world, but this is a departure from that.

I enjoy simplicity in the sense of elemental. Simplicity in the sense of casual and relaxed, yet polished. I hope that makes sense...

Boy, some really good points, there, Whitehorse.

I just haven't been here since that last post of mine.

Hmm. Now, how would I go about making "antisocial" a noun?

Writers, cartoonists, etc., are known to literally wallpaper their rooms with rejection slips.  It's the method to the madness.  (it's so competitive)
Just a thot.

You implying something about me, Symphony?

Sounds like you're in that "No one like me so I will reject them first but secretly want to be like them" stage.

The first time I read this, I thought it said "...but I secretly want to kill them stage." And I thought, "Yeah, that's about right."

But you're WRONG.

What is this thing you the "antisocialism"?

...What...? Actually try to read that. It's almost physically impossible, I think.

Antisocial tendencies. That's it. But I am also antisocialism.

Ok. No more antis.

Hmmm.  Wow.  Incisive.

Almost as if people's souls are talking with one another, minus all our external baggage.

You implying something about me, Symphony?

Everyone gets rejected, Sapph.  LOTS of times.  'Builds xter.   Grin

Antisocial tendencies

Are you sure they're just tendencies, Sapph??    Grin

Uhhh Symphony - just how much character do you have?  Lips Sealed

What's Sym like, do ya think?

Hey Symphony- should we try and 'guess' age first?  Tongue

But you're WRONG.

ROFL! *buzzer* Sorry, Tibby.  Wink Could it be Tibby has that 19-yr old mentality that says "I couldn't possibly be wrong cause that's how I decided it should be?"  Grin

I wonder if Sapphire Weapon's anti-socialness has more to do with the fact that he's an extremely bright teen who finds his peer group to be lacking and therefore can't relate?  Wink

Hey, it is a complex that plagues a lot of 15 year olds.

Tibby? Something you need to confess?    Grin

I'm not sure I picture any of you as people. More like, words with personality.

I'm not a word - I'm a human being!   Cool
