Shylynne,

Sister, I get to cheat one day this week, Thanksgiving! However, I think that I'm going to save the appetite for mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, cranberry sauce, turkey, and all the trimmings. YUM!!! I get to eat all the mashed potatoes and dressing that I want.

It's been raining here for over a week, and we have mud everywhere. Please don't give my wife any ideas. She'll go out in the back yard to get the ingredients for my mud pie.   Grin

Love In Christ,
Tom

Yep, somehow going on diets and hanging around Thanksgiving Day morning, with that turkey drifting throughtout the house...

 *sigh*

Now I know why I always took extra helpings as a kid.  I knew when I grew up I wouldn't be allowed any at all.

Symphony,

Let's forget the diet for Thanksgiving. I can already tell you that I will be cheating.   Grin

'cuz the modern, contemporary male has been so DOMESTICATED (by whom I will not say THEIR name),

and 'cuz he has been so relieved of much manual labor, spending his working day behind a xxxxxx desk,

that he isn't left with much else except to become this drueling, slobbering, wasted thing that puts on weight even if he just looks at food.

I know its a lame excuse.  but the sad truth is just that, its' the sad truth.

i'm sorry you weren't born in the cave man era, shyl, 'cuz your menfolk, or apefolk-hehe- coulda prolly eaten a whole half an antelope and not gained an ounce.

(that's antelope, not cantelope -- hehe  Lips Sealed)
