I don't think Joel is on Australian T.V. Otherwise, I would watch in order to answer. But, I am strictly against T.V. hype regarding christianity. I would far sooner watch a nice man, ordinarily dressed, preach the message.
I do listen to Derek Prince tapes. But as far as T.V. staged shows go...Benny Hinn turned me off. Then I thought I'd allow room for another, so watched Joyce Meyer. Never again. I gave it another chance and watched Maralyn Hicky preaching that everybody would become a millionaire if they sowed seeds(money) into her church. Then, I gave Kenneth Copeland a go and even subscribed to a book. In the book he wrote " if people think they can be healed they'll come from anywhere"
Lies and deceit do not a nice person make. Satan can perform 'miracles' too.
Out of them all, I liked Marilyn Hickey the most. But, once she uttered those words...no more.
And...I believe in the words of Paul. Women should keep silent in the church. And, for believing in that so strictly some women have abused me. They belong to the W.O.F. Movement.

I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO CHARLES STANLEY AND JOYCE MEYERS
MOSTLY. I HAVE NEVER TURNED STANLEY OFF AND JOYCE I HAVE
BECAUSE SHE WAS TALKING TOO MUCH ABOUT PEOPLE WHO DO NOT
GIVE AND HOW THEY NEED TO BE MORE AWARE OF GOD SPEAKING TO
THEM. WHEN SHE IS NOT TALKING ABOUT GIVING I LIKE WHAT SHE HAS
TO SAY BECAUSE SHE WANTS PEOPLE TO FOLLOW AND BE OBEDIENT
TO THE LORD. BENNY HINN IS A TURNOFF. KENNETH HAGIN WAS GOOD
BUT WE DO NOT GET HIM HERE IN LOS ANGELES ANYMORE. I HAVE
HEARD JOEL SOMEBODY, HE WAS GOOD THE FEW TIMES I HEARD HIM.

Anyone remember when Ben Haden was on TV? He would preach about the difficult things with great wisdom, in my opinion. His web-site has messages for Windows media and real player.
He was my favorite. When I see the appeal to people to buy faith or give to get, I am reminded of scripture In 2 Peter:
2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 ¶ And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
