Strike'em Down!
«

For anyone who has been following current events this summer, you will know that the assinine, stupid Homosexual "Agenda" has been in our face as much as ever-- from the U.S. Supreme Court--whose freakin' salary we pay!!--on down to us here on the street, and right on up into the nostrils and face of the Almighty!!
Today, just as a second vote by bishops of the Episcopal Church here in America was commencing on ordination of a New Hampshire openly gay clergyman as bishop of that state, and Missouri's bishop two weeks ago gave his approval, news broke of accusations of sexual harrassment and pornography. As to the truth of these we do not yet know, but voting was suspended.
Yesterday about this time I was praying the Lord to "do something" about this Episcopal convention. Whether an answer to prayer or not today, it occurred to me just now likewise that I ought to be praying similarly for...
To wit:
1) In the same way God struck Herod with worms as he made an oration to the people there in Acts, the LOrd to strike the six(?) Supreme Court justices who decided that assinine sodomy glorification in June--simultaneously, significantly, so that we can see it. The justices are currently on recess, until Oct 1. I pray the LOrd to strike them for that assinine, idiotic, blasphemeous decision they made regarding the Texas sodomy case, overturning their own 1986 decision that condemned homosexuality. Make them pay for this blasphemous, ignorant, assinine decision(and from Supreme Court justices, no less!!--with a long, long list of academic credentials that they KNOW better than this), O Lord, make them see that there is no God but Thee in Heaven, and how dare they defy the armies of the Living God!!
2) That the world's largest corporation who this summer extended equal employment guarantees to gays in it's million+ workforce, be similarly struck down for their bald, in-your-face total disregard for thy Saving Grace, Oh Heavenly Father; that you strike Wal-Mart stores!! That you bring this screaming monolith of discount retailing hubris, to their financial, crumbling knees, oh Father, just at their peak ripeness of financial acumen and self-satisfaction!!--a conservative, down-home corporation, now gone the way of the whole freakin' world! Show them that they are but men.
3) That the LOrd would deal with this Homosexual Agenda in the same way that He dealt with Herod, there in Acts...

Symphony,
You understand what the meaning of imprecatory prayers are! Not too many Christians realize the importance of this powerful arsenal!
David fully understood this principle. He prayed many times that God would strike down his enemies (who were God's enemies) Yes, Jesus told us to "turn the other cheek", but this was when a personal harm had been done to us. When people mock our God and His Son well that's another story.
"Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, For they have rebelled agaisnt You." Psalm 5:10
"Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the just; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds." Psalms 7:9
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." Psalm 9:17
The book of Psalms is replete with imprecatory prayers regarding the wicked. All Bible believing Christians should read them aloud as a prayer to the Almighty. I have seen God act upon such prayers.
America is being sodomized before our very eyes. For those of us who grieve over the abominations in our midst, Our God will act on our behalf. God knew that righteous Lot was oppressed by what he heard and saw every day, and He acted on his behalf.
In the meantime we Christians must stand and speak the Word. We must fight the good fight. We must remain faithful to the Gospel!

I agree, completely with the prayer and the reasons why.
We as Christians are told to pray, if the Lord has a call on you to ge a prayer warrior, or intercessor then this is the time.
Stand in agreement and strike down the enemies plans. That satans plans would return null and void. The enemies snare would bare no fruit in the Name of Jesus. That the prayers of the warriors would go straight to the thrown room not hindered by the principalities of the air for the name of Jesus is greater, and mighteir than any other. Jesus is Lord over all ther earth, he allows the coming and going, he is the waymaker and the living God.
In Jesus name!

Thank you, Psalm, and musiclover.
Yes, we are in mortal or, perhaps more accurately, spiritual combat now.
Not that we were'nt before. Maybe now it's just a little more apparent.
Thank you for your responses. I'm guessing I, or we, will be largely alone in this. This is the reality of the warfare we are facing.
Thank you for joining me in this prayer.
If they want to ram homosexuality down our throats, then LOrd be it far from me ever to even dream of responding in kind--but only "in kind".
No, instead, I offer up my prayer, a prayer, to the Almighty, in Jesus' Name, as before, above.
But, of course, more importantly, thy will be done, Lord, on earth, as it is in Heaven...
In Jesus' Name...

I agree that Prayer is powerfull, but I Will Not Pray That Some Sinners Be Killed, but rather that the Holy Spirit reaches them for Christ sake, and Glory.

Forrest,
I want the sin struck down, the evil that prevails and ruins the lives of sooo many innocent people. The perversion that runs rampant in the world, now we can't keep it all at bay, but we can pray to slow it down some. The scriptures say that there is no sin that man will not think of, and look at the world today......how could it get any worse, but it will. And I have several children, and grandchildren.
I won't disagree with you, you pray the way the Spirit leads you to pray. But out of curiosity was there ever a prayer siad by anyone in the scriptures about Killing someone.....maybe not in so many words but most defiantly for victory in war. This is a war in the spiritual sense, strike down, come against, binding and loosing.......we are told to these things. In the name of Jesus.
Blessings

Homosexuality is blasphemous. The reason it is blasphemous is becuase it masquerades as "love". The sancitity and integrity of any church depends upon the familial, genuine and caring attributes of its leadership--namely, its manly, or masculine, Godly, caring "shepherding" of the hurting, confused and needy flock(we are all like sheep, gone astray). Homosexuality, under the pretense of this "love", is therefore blasphemous, b/c it passes as the central-most adhesive to church integrity, while harboring other intent(itself), producing only distrust among fellow brethren--which is its ultimate intent--division and conquest.
Homosexuality's ultimate intent is to divide, conquer and transmogrify and literally rape the church of Jesus Christ--His Bride.
That's why it is blasphemous. And that's why these Supreme Court Justices are an in-your-face blasphemy to the Most High God.
"Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins ar heaped high as heaven, and God has rememgbered her iniquities.
"Render to her as she herself has rendered, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double draught for her in the cup she mixed." (Rev. 18:4b-6)
I am lumping these justices in with that prayer, as I am now together with the newly ordained and openly gay bishop--and voting bishops and members--of that "church" in New Hampshire.
I have nowhere declared a prayer to strike them dead, tho that would be the implication from the Herod incident in Acts, being eaten by worms, I am referring to.
I am praying for a simlutanteous event on them all, in the Lord's Name. Maybe that event would be a public announcement of their change of heart, or renunciation!! I don't know.
Pray for those who spitefully use you. Yes, and I am praying for all of them. But again, it is a prayer. God has the right to refuse it--of course!!
Thank you for your prayers Forrest, musiclover, Psalm, for these men and women, who are doing this blasphemous thing...
