Yoga For Dogs

Brothers and Sisters,

I just watched part of a show on Animal Planet, and I couldn't believe it. I'm still laughing.  

It was actually a yoga class for dogs - SERIOUSLY.    It was supposed to help the dogs with stress.

I have two old dogs, one 15 and one 16, and I must sign them up immediately. Mine do get all stressed out if their morning or afternoon nap is interrupted.

Try yogurt, it is better for them than yoga and easier to get them to do it.

I see that you are new, so WELCOME!

 YES, I understand how limited money is for normal folks. I try to treat my 2 very old dogs with love and kindness, but they wll have to be content with pretty plain dog food and running around the back yard for exercise.

I also watched a show about a gourmet restaurant for dogs in NYC.    The dogs were seated at tables, had napkins around their necks, and real china was used for serving. The show was worth several really big laughs, but I couldn't help but think about many better uses for all that money those rich folks were spending.

Both of my elderly dogs read this message before I had a chance to hide the computer monitor. Now, they are all stressed out.  

I'm just glad that I was able to stop them before they typed out a reply to this message. Both of them did comment that they want a picture of you for their "Stranger - Danger" bulletin that they publish for their four-legged friends on the block.

I've also seen spas, beauty parlors and vacation camps for dogs!  With all the money the rich spend on pampering their pooches, one might think hunger in the U.S. could be abolished....

Besides that, CATS already know yoga - they don't need classes.  They don't get stressed and everything is to play with!

They get stressed.  
They lick out all their fur and have panic attacks when their People are more than a few feet away.
Then they have to get hormone shots from the vet, after which they are happy and furry and indifferent again.

I must be caring for my cats' emotional needs exceptionally well then, Ms. Willow, because I've never heard of such a thing.

Well, I've never had a cat like my "emotional cat" before, lol! She is very sweet, so that helps to counterbalance her occasionally annoying behavior.
