Hey, what's everyone's favorite baseball team? For me, it's gotta be the New York Yankees.

Hey BigDogg12, welcome to CU! I was going to let this post slide – but my fingers just can’t ignore it – they must type in an answer. Yankees fan??? YANKEES??? Don’t you know that in 1983 Yankees outfielder Dave Winfield killed a seagull in Toronto with a warm up throw and the Ontario police charged him with animal cruelty? Do you know the implications of being a Yankees fan??? PETA hates the Yankees. Admitting you are a Yankees fan is like admitting you kick puppies and dowse cats with lighter fluid and throw matches at them. When a Yankees fan sees a tortoise crossing the road, they stop and turn it over on its back in the middle of the pavement. Yankees fans take particular glee at the THUMP and resulting yellow mess of a large bug hitting a windshield. It’s apparent that a lot of Yankees fans live in Texas – the roads are littered with dead armadillos. Yankee fans pull the wings off of flies and call them ‘walks’. It was a Yankees fan who killed Bambi’s mother… If you take anything I wrote in this post seriously, maybe you really ARE a Yankees fan! Keep smiling, and keep looking up! God bless, JN

I only had one thought - RAISING WALKS FOR FUN AND PROFIT! Technically - if they're in a hurry, they'd be called "Runs".

Oneonta Tigers Minor league games are a lot more fun to watch, and you can afford to take your kids.

Are we to listen to those who would say, "Times have changed, we have modern science, we understand things better today, He couldn't really have meant that, abortion and divorce are O.K., sexual preference is not a choice."?
Or are we to listen to those who walked with the Lord?

Well, first off I'm new here and this is only my second post but I must confess I am a cursed Cubs fan. I live in the St. Louis area but when I was a kid I could not stand the Cardinal fans. The last straw for me was when Cardinal nation was trying to say that Tommy Herr was the greatest second baseman in the game. It just so happened that was about the time that my Dad got cable and WGN and the Cubs went to the playoffs in 84'. I became a Cubs fan quickly then and since it really made the Cardinal fans mad it was that much sweeter. I have been hanging in there ever since. I also root for the White Sox, Dodgers, Red Sox and whoever plays the Cardinals. Favorite players ever: Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, Don Mattingly.
