Sure you all have heard the verdic on the Micheal Jackson case!  Well I'm very interested to hear your take on this situation.  Do you think his money got him over.......or could it be that he is inocent?  Why is it so hard to believe that the Lord who is a lawyer in your courtroom worked thru his atty and showed up and showed out?

Sabrina,

Germaine Jackson was interviewed by Larry King a few nights ago.  This interview may repeat this Saturday or Sunday night, 9:00 EDST and 12:00 EDST.  Germaine claims that Michael never slept in the same bed with young children.  He said this is something that the media propagated.  No one knows what really happened, only Michael and God.  I think Michael used bad judgement in some areas, but I don't know whether he's guilty as accused.  I certainly would hope not.  Obviously, he has some emotional problems that need dealt with.  There are many, many people that have said they know Michael well, and do not believe the stories told about him.  You know, he just may be a bit odd, but it doesn't make him a child molestor.  Gossip can kill, in more than one way.  We are all ultimately accountable to God.

Grace and peace,
cris

that is a very good point my friend.....very good point indeed.  I missed the interview but I bet it was good.  He has a point about the press they definately tainted the story one way just a tad.

In the past both of his sisters implied that he may be quilty and Lisa Presley said she knew things that happened that she will never speak of.  There have been three children who have came forward.  It doesn't look like he is innocent, but this aside, Mr. Jackson has a chance now to get help and change his behavior.  Only time will tell.

It is amazing to me how a judge/jury can be so quick to find guilt with dead Catholic priests who can't even defend themselves (DUH! They're dead!) but let a famous liberal walk...

I'm of the belief that there may be a smoking gun  here,  But atty Tom Sneddton should have stayed far away from this because in my opinion he and the mother of the child brought the case down.  Heck even Micheal Jackson was  in a state of shock as I sure he seen his life pass before his eyes......but our God is a God of a second chance.  Thats what he does isn't it!  I fear Jackson will not seek help now for fear the press will find out about it and crucify him......I feel there is a defenite need for some type of therapy here.  But the real crime is, and the eople who should be arrested is the parents who leave their children in that situation.......he has been accussed on two previous occassions......Neverland or not my child would not attend unless I'm there 24/7 watching everything........so these parents have got a big problem a big one!!!!!!  they ought to arrested for child endangerment.

Should Christians care, other than to pray for Michael, whether he be guilty or innocent. God knows and Michael knows and the two of them must work it out either way. All we can do is pray and show the Way, Jesus the Christ.

Brothers and Sisters,

I hope that I'm not too bashful on this subject. Michael Jackson was guilty many times more than once, and he will now victimize many more children.

I listened to a lawyer giving an interview the other day who probably characterized this case very well. The jury didn't consider conviction on the standard of beyond REASONABLE DOUBT, rather than beyond ANY DOUBT. Who really knows why?

We simply saw another gross failure of our justice system, and these have become common with celebrities. Many might say that I didn't hear everything the jury did, and that would be true. However, Michael Jackson said almost enough to the press to convict himself. There is no doubt in my mind that an average person would have been convicted under the same circumstances. If someone is popular enough and rich enough, maybe it just doesn't matter how evil they are.

Yes, I will pray for Michael Jackson, but I will pray harder for his future victims.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Salvation is not by chance.

Blame the parents and charge them with child endangerment because MJ needs some therapy?  What endangerment was there to the children if he is not guilty.

It just might be a novel idea to blame the person responsible! I remember the statements about MJ’s dad molesting his kids. My guess he is guilty. just maybe if the kids then had been important to the courts or any one truly cared for them, MJ might still be black, and normal. Believing he was molested, as i do, doesn't give him any justification for molesting, for buying children and abusing them.

I believe he is guilty. I wish the courts cared more for the children. MJ belongs in jail for the rest of his life or at the business end of a parents gun.

Lips Sealed I believe that the death penalty is justified - but I also believe in first having an actual trial.  Although... 'justifiable homicide' has played a part in history - including biblical history...

Oooo - deep subject, Reba... DEEP subject.

I do not know if he is innocent or guilty. He did many things that a normal man would not do. He placed himself in very compromising places that would leave doubt in any good persons mind.

One thing I do know for certain. Without Jesus he will one day stand in the greatest court ever, where there will be no doubt of his guilt or innocence and will have to pay accordingly.

Children in our courts today are third class citizens they just do not matter.

If the courts had done the job properly Ellie would not have had the pleasure a reason for what she did.
