What's your point?  I didn't think what you said was funny.  This is a most serious issue that can't be ignored. You're minimizing a globally potentially irreversible situation.  Right now, there is an "autism" epidemic.  We have children who are 10 years old who have been fed nothing but genetically altered food.  We're going to create a race of non-humans if it doesn't stop.  Our soil is now contaminated with this stuff.  It's blowing in the air.  Most serious, indeed.

Reference original recipe, the cancerous part of the chicken is removed and you're eating the rest of it.  

In light of your study on America at the Crossroads, your attitude is like those you wrote about.  I'm stunned 2T.

I don't know, the Transgenic food can be the answer to the worlds hunger problems! I think these articles blow things WAY out of proportion. They don't talk about the millions of people these crops feed at all. They are having trouble getting food as it is! Are we just going to let them die because of a few hippies think this may be dangerous?

You need to do some more investigation on this subject.  This is not the food our Creator made for us.  The cells in our body respond to our Creator's food.  We're going to change who we are (future generations).  The government hid this information from us.  They didn't require these foods to be labeled.  Food is wasted.  There's enough to feed everyone without altering it.  It's politics that's starving people. The alteration is a means to make more money, not to feed the hungry.

God gave us the fruit of the Earth, yes, but he also gave us a brains, to work and make better foods. Your "God made it, so it is better" idology is the same theory Potheads use to defend their use of Herb smoke. THe COmptuer is not naturally, is it? We can't grow and pick circuitboardfs, but we have no problem using it. Sounds like you've done plent investigation on this subject yourself, now you jsut need to go think it over somemore.

Yes Tibby, I have investigated this issue.  It is not I who needs to do more thinking.  My eyes have been opened.  I am not blinded to what's going on.  One cannot make an analogy of transgenic food to computers or, for that matter, any object.  We are made in the image and likeness of God.  Man is corrupting the soil of the earth (with transgenic crops) that God gave us to take care of.  No one can make better crops than our heavenly Father.  He knows what our needs are and they aren't man-made.

There are those that think that childhood innoculations are the cause of autism, ADHD, ADD and other such ailments but then again there is still no definite proof to this either.

Autism is currently epidemic.  Autism has been around for awhile, but it has never been epidemic, till now.

As for the innoculations, I know all about this also, and have no doubt of the contribution they make to a host of maladies we have today.  If you're interested, I'll give you a website on vaccinations (if I still have it).

The problem with any of these things is that it cannot be proven and it cannot be disproved. It is just like some of the natural foods have been blamed for various ailments and then years later these same people say no it isn't that it is something else.

Another thing that is blamed is that natural foods do not have the vitamin/mineral content that they used to have because of depletion of the soils.

We also keep hearing "this food causes cancer" (which are naturally grown foods). With another food being added to that list each year just to have another group come out years later denouncing that fact.

What I was talking about was that at one time natural (or organic foods as you refer) were at one time listed as cancer causing and then they came out and said it wasn't the food but rather the manner in which it was processed. We all have heard that certain additives can cause cancer but one of these processes included just cooking it in too high of a heat without any additives.

My brothers, sisters and I were raised on naturally grown foods. My Dad raised his own using all natural products with no chemical assistance of any sort. It did not lesson our childhood or adult illnesses. 85% of our food consisted of fruits and vegetables. We had very little meat and what we did eat consisted mostly of fish and chicken we raised ourselves. My parents both died of heart ailments and everyone of us kids (8 of us) all have high blood pressure and/or problems with Cholesterol. In fact my younger brother first had his problem at age 15.

My point is ..... no matter what you eat or don't eat we all are going to have problems in this world. A person can get so consummed with this sort of thing that they tend to start overlooking the things that are really important.
