Sisters,
I give thanks for godly mothers. God richly blessed me with a godly mother, and she is still with me. She's almost 85 now, and I can't count the number of times that she's encouraged and helped me, especially in the things of the Lord. My parents starting teaching my brothers and I the things of the Lord before we were able to talk, and I can't think of a better gift from loving parents.
We've all heard that a "mother's work is never done", and that is especially true for mothers who love their children and have JESUS as the Lord over their lives. My sweet angel of a mother still shares the things of the Lord with me every time we talk. She has done the same for my children and my grandchildren.
I just wanted to say a special THANKS to all the godly mothers here. I'm sure there might be times when you feel like you're not appreciated, but please continue your labor of love, especially in your teaching of the things of the LORD.
