True faith includes obedience.

In John 3:36, John wrote, "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him"

You are gasping for air,  Ollie,

I don't disagree with your first sentence.  But.........

You are becoming a JW, now, by wresting the scriptures, to make them mean what you want to make them mean.

There is alot of difference between, "believe" (which is the word you replaced in this verse with) "obey".  They are not the same inspired, words written for your edification.
As I have posted before, Jesus, spoke only the words, which God put in His mouth to speak;

Jesus, never claimed, what you have made the verse to say, by changing it, to suit your needs.

But He did say;

Jhn 12
47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

And the Apostles, understood, that obedience to the words Jesus, spoke in the name of the Father, was obedience to the Father, and whosoever obeys Him, He (the Father) gives them the Holy Spirit.

Acts 5
 29  Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
30  The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31  Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
32  And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

And it is God, who commands ALL men everywhere to repent. (Acts 17:30)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (Jhn 5:24)

You really should stop, while you are ahead..

Blessings,

Petro

  Romans 16:25.  Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
 26.  But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
 27.  To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.

Whats your point??

What about the verse you hacked, in your previous post??

Do you understand, what the word "wrest" means??

Blessings,
