"Gone WIth The Wind" is my favorite book.
I just finished Armageddon, the 11th book in the Left Behind series. It was very good.

I Read a lot of Science Fiction.  A handful of them I would consider lifechanging in that they significantly changed the way I think of the World.
George Orwell: 1984; The most important Science Fiction Novel ever Written.

 Margaret Atwood: The Handmaids Tale

 Dan Simmons: Hyperion Cantos

I would also Reccomend Watchmen by alan Moore purely for entertainment value.

If you like science fiction books, Sammy, you should definitely check out Dune.
I loved Dune (and most of its many children). I just finished reading another GREAT novel--a new fantasy epic titled Gideon's Dawn . It's author, Michael D. Warden , is new to the fantasy genre...but I think his name will be pretty well-known before long. This was the best fantasy book I've read since Tolkein. (yes, seriously) If you like fantasy, you should check out this gem:http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1586607251/qid%3D1051645553/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/103-2743731-6183828 |
