Both, they failed, as losers normally do. I am very happy I go the firewall I got. Chances are, I will buy the pro edition. I have reported them to both, their ISP and abuse org. I am trying right now to back track them to the forum/s they normally use. One of the ISP's is a diversion. So that is a dead end, least for now.

DreamWeaver,
Slow down there! I think you might be jumping to conclusions. Did you know that these are foreign IP's execpt for one??
There are three IPs from Japan, two from Korea, one from Austrlia, one from China, one from Brazil and one from the US (Arizona). Its more likely that these person/persons are performing an random IP pool scan and looking for port openings, vulnerabilities, or looking for a relay server.
abuse.org wont/can't do anything about the off-shore IPs. I would just block the range of IP's that this companys are using.
Can you or are you willing to share your firewall logs? What specific attack was noted in your logs?

Yes I do know, when you get hit over 2,700 times in a period of 5 minutes. I would call that hacking. The one from Az. is from a party at the same IP as mine. He is now under arrest, he has tried this before.

"2,700 times in a period of 5 minutes"
VERY unlikely! The Pentagon doesn’t even get that many hits in a hour. Those number mention above, go against the statistical studies of people with home computers even those with cablemodem, dial-ups, etc.

Maybe the information stored on DW's hard drive is more important than the Pentagon? BTW, how do you know so much about the hacker activity against the Pentagon?
