James 3:2
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able to bridle the whole body.
James 3:6 The tongue is a fire a world of iniquity, sois the tongue among our member, that it defileth the whole body and setteth on fire the course of nature, and it is set on fire of hell.

How do theses verses say we are judged by our words?
Doesn't it say that in many things we offend all, but if we offend not in word, we are a perfect man and able to bridle the whole body? Otherwords if we hold our tongue and control what comes out of it we will be perfect, for it is the ugliness of the tongue that defiles a man
Then it goes on to tell what the tongue is and that it unbridled can defile the whole body.
We can offend with our words coming from our tongue. However some people are offended with the truth.
