I never thought they could, but they did.

For the first time in MLB postseason history (if I understood correctly), a team has come back from being down 3 games to none to win the series. And they did it in a very convincing manner. 10-3 in Game 7. Johnny Damon: 2 hr including 1 grand slam, 6 RBI. Sweet. Smiley

When Pedro came in it was really funny listening to all the New York fans chanting "Who's your Daddy?" (bum bum ba ba bum) "Who's your daddy?" Grin. Unfortunately he didn't do very well and gave up 2 runs . . . not like it mattered. Roll Eyes

Ahhh! But it is written:
2nd American 5:4-7
4.  And by the Grace of God, the nation was blessed and it grew and was prosperous and its people became enamored with games.  5.  The game the people called baseball gained particular favor, and men were to be made wealthy to play the game.  6.  During the months of harvest all came together to see the end of the game and the one who would be called champion.  7.  And it was known that those adorned in red socks would not prevail, for they turned away a babe

There you have it.  Can’t argue with something that kinda/sorta sounds like scripture, now can you?

Are you sure that's not in the Book of Mormon? Grin

Well, I don't know if anybody around here actually cares, but the Red Sox just swept the Cardinals and won their first World Series since 1918. Sweet  Smiley
