I found this forum through a reference on it made to me through email. So far it looks like an interesting place.
Christians Unite is an excellant title and in line with what I believe we must do.

Welcome Pastor. I'm pretty new here myself, but so far have found these forums to be a place where I can come to find great fellowship and also some interesting and often very much needed insight. Hope you jump right in.

Thank you all for such a warm welcome.A little bit about myself so you all might understand me a bit better.
I accepted the Lord as my saviour at the age of 8 yrs in an Independent Bible Church. I was raised in a Christian home with both Christian parents and seven brothers and sisters.
I joined the U. S. Navy in 1969 during Viet Nam and made a career of it. Praise God, I survived three wars the last being Desert Storm. I am now handicapped because of my tour in the Gulf War. Something called the Gulf War Illness.
After I got out of the Navy I worked as a construction electrician for a while. Then I went into the ministry.
I am currently medically retired (does one ever really retire from the service of the Lord?).
I spend my days now on the computer, doing hobbies and enjoying my family including two grandchildren.

Well, you know what they (whoever they are) say, (1) "The Lord works in mysterious ways," and (2) "Everything happens for a reason." I believe you are here for a reason and God will show you that reason when the time is right. Me personally, I thank the Lord that you are here, for you are one more Brother in Christ I have now to learn from and ask questions of.

Hello Pastor Roger, I've read many of your posts, and I'm going to enjoy calling you a Brother in Christ. We have many sweet Christians here, and you are a most welcome addition. Brother, I sincerely hope you enjoy it here. We try very hard to make Christians Unite a safe place to fellowship for the entire family, including children. We do have members as young as eight. Does anyone know why Pastor Roger, left the Forum??? Brother Love, Brother, Pastor Roger is back. I was sad and asked. He said it was primarily time, and his heart is with a group of military veterans on another Christian forum. He did mention some time wasted with one of our trolls, but he felt like he was neglecting the veterans. I just give thanks that he is back. I appreciate the need to spend time where your heart is.
