I've had a lot of health problems over the week and a half.
Started off with miscarrying an eptopic pregnancy.

Today I wound up in the drs. office again.
She tends to be very thorough.
I've been very tired and extremely dizzy.
After asking me some questions about my family health history, she told me that I have veritigo (spelling?) and recommended an MRI and a CAT scan.

I'm 39.
I'm an adoptee.
I've been reunited with my birth mom's side of the family.
Her mom died at the age of 55 of cancer.
Her dad died at the age of 60 of a heart attack.
She died at the age of 56 of a brain tumor.
Her other 8 siblings are between the ages of 50-70 and are in good health.
I have one half sister who is 35 and in good health.
All of the cousins range in age from 25-45 and are in good health.

The odds aren't exactly in my favor, but they aren't exactly stacked against me either.
Still I am so afraid of what the dr. might find that I can hardly think of anything else.

Hello His_Child,

I will definitely pray for you. Sister, I give thanks in knowing that you are a strong Christian woman. Jesus will be with you each step of the way. Even though we have the ultimate strength in our hearts, we are weak and scared from time to time. Sister, in these times we can enjoy the greatest fellowship with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray that you give our sister peace, comfort, and strength in her time of illness and doubt about her health in the future. Lord, we ask that you give guidance and wisdom to her doctors for the best possible treatments. Lord, we ask that your will be done. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.  Amen.

ODDS... victory has nothing to do with ODDS! Come on now daughter of God himself... you already KNOW His power. So let's get this done with.

Lord, today... now... in the most high name of Christ Jesus, I proclaim and speak victory into the life of HC. Let it be known to all demons, illnesses, evil things, agents of satan, that as of this moment, HC is off-limits!

Lord, work Your power in this health challange remembering  that You rountinely defeat the BIG ODDS. Here too Lord, bring Your power, increase faith and love, show Your greatness and on-time arrival! I speak and pray this in Jesus' name, which IS sufficient! Amen

Thank you bep and jive.

We've ran into a problem with my insurance company. They are saying that it is a pre-existing illness and they are not willing to cover it. If they don't cover it, then I can't afford to go in for the tests. If they do cover it, then I still can't have anything done for 45 days.

I got my insurance through work around Feb or Mar. These problems started about 3 weeks ago. According to my calendar, 3 weeks ago was August, not March!  Roll Eyes

Hello His_Child,

It sounds like you should challenge that decision. Many employee groups have medical insurance committees that watch out for the other employees. If so, you should go see them and get a second opinion. In the absence of an insurance committee, your doctor might be able to handle the problem for you.

Regardless, I will pray that this obstacle is resolved. Hang tough and check the options. In the meantime:

KEEP LOOKING UP!!

Love In Christ,
Tom
