Well, Im alive so PRAISE THE LORD ON HIGH!!! Unfortunately for Lake Wales, Fl and Polk Co Fl, we took a beatin'! A BIG one at that. We had a hurricane (Charley) / Tornado come thru here & beat us up. Ive got no roof, collapsed ceilings and windows smashed in & I believe it is ready to topple. My storage business took a beating too leaving so many of my tenants storage items damaged, wet & ruined. Its tough and I am completely devastated, I wont lie. Its hard coming here looking at it when I worked so hard to have my house & business & now its crumbled. I know there are A LOT more ppl far worse as their houses were demolished and vehicles smashed and many homeless. Still, the Lord is in control. God is Good-ALL THE TIME! I know he will help me through this all, but Im human and in the crying stages. Lake Wales has been getting help Praise God. The National Guard's been here giving free ice, water, meals and juice out. We can even go to the City Hall & take showers and many banks around here are having free lunches so I can see how the Lord is still providing. I don't mean to come across looking for a pity party, but sure....I admit Im depressed about it all still. Just wanted to come in & say hello to everyone because I hadn't visited in sometime & got a few Wonderfully sweet Emails from some members asking about me-THANK YOU! Im ok and still loving Christ!!!  If anyone else was in Charley's way here in Fla, I hope you are okay & well & didn't suffer any or much damage! My prayers be with you~ xoxoxox

I have a couple other Florida friends who have just experienced this devastation! Thankfully they are alive, and not too severely damaged. (But they won't have business for a while - they're realtors, and, of course, most people don't care to buy houses in a town just hit by a hurricane...)
So thankful that you are all right! What a heartbreak, Natey! May the Lord be your peace and strength at this time (and always).
