FAITH Is: RELIANCE ON the certainty that GOD has a pattern for my life, when everything else seems meaningless. REMEMBERING I am GOD's priceless treasure, when I feel utterly useless. DEPENDING ON the fact that GOD is love - not on my ability to figure out why - in the midst of smashed hopes, reversal and tragedy. KEEPING ON when I'm dog-tired, discouraged, disillusioned, deserted, dusty, and dry and I cast on His strength alone. REALIZING that I am useful to GOD, not in spite of my scars, but because of them. CONFIDENCE that GOD is acting for my highest good when He answers "No" to my prayers. ACCEPTING the truth that, in spite of the wreckage and grief I've caused, GOD has wiped the slate clean and delights in me! RECOGNIZING GOD is the LORD of time, when my idea of timing doesn't agree with HIS. AN ASSURANCE (not a vague hope) of a happy hereafter of Heaven, based on my trust in CHRIST's death as payment for my sins. REMEMBERING that, though my way is as dark as night to me, GOD can see and guides me unerringly. DOING the right thing regardless of the consequences, knowing GOD will turn the ultimate effect to good.

Remember that tho the storms of life may rage & stir things up, cause chaos and at times many hurts, etc...In the end, It can unearth the most beautiful of treasure! Keep Holding on to Jesus thru the storm & He will indeed show you the beauty of life after its all settled & peaceful, Its His Plan!

So true. Just this week I offended a friend. Holy Spirit told me to say I am sorry, even though I felt justified in what I said. I obeyed and the results are beautiful.
Thanks for that, asaph

Three in ONE ALONE
My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus blood and righteousness.
On Christ the solid Rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand!

Romans 10 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Greetings to all, When my daughter was very young, we used to play a little game. She would go up a few steps (maybe 4 or 5) on the stairs, and jump into daddy’s arms. One day while I was sitting at my desk, she had climbed the stairs to go to the bathroom. When she was finished she yelled to me: “Catch me, daddy!”
I turned to see that she was near the top of the stairs, perhaps one or two from the second floor. I yelled for her to wait and I ran to her. As I reached the bottom of the stairs, she just leaned out to fall into daddy’s arms. I had time to only hit perhaps the second or third step in a leap and then to dive toward her. I caught her, but I hit my body on the steps and lifted her up behind my head.
She said “WEEEEEEEE! Let’s do that again!!!” I told her no; that we would have to wait awhile (I was hurt). I told her though that she must never do that again, because I might not have been able to catch her.
I often thought about her faith in me. I also often wondered if I had that kind of faith in God. I hope I have, but I have never been asked to express as much trust in Him, as I remember my daughter expressing in me. Yet, she was so young, believing I could do anything. She is wiser now. I wonder how much wiser I am today. Sometimes I think I would be afraid of the truth.
God bless,
John1one

John1one, I read this story of yours this morning, and it has stuck with me all day... thank u for sharing, and i have to say what i have gotten from it is this, If we could only have the total and complete faith in our heavenly Father, that your daughter had in you, that when we go to him we just in a spiritual sense throw ourselves in His arms and give all our troubles ect to him with total and complete faith in knowing He is there to catch us everytime.unlike what happened to you in getting hurt trying to catch us, He doesnt have to dive to TRY to catch us, Hes already there with arms stretched out.. What a beautiful thought!! Thanks again John 1one
