Cats bagged, dumped at local farm

Carol McIsaac buried another cat on Wednesday morning. It was the 41st cat she has had to bury in less than a month.
Week after week, always before dawn, they arrive unannounced at the end of her gravel driveway, imprisoned in plastic bags tied off at the top, abandoned there like sacks of unwanted trash.

Huh I don't understand. What an awful way to take care of unwanted pets. At least the pet shelters will try to find homes for the animals, even though they have to "put down" many if not most.
Is there a reason this article caught your attention, Grace? Do you live in the area?  Cry

God sees every sparrow that falls, Grace. I imagine He sees kitties too.

Given half a chance, I'd do it to some dogs.

Yes, I do. My town.

Silly, I guess; it made me cry. It reminds me, I suppose to "help the helpless" - not just kitties, but all the human helpless too.

I guess it's because we have a cat (nasty thing she is - I'm quite sure her mother must have mated with the marsh lynx!) who came from a farm; she was one of the 15th litter of kitties at that farm. She's definitely antisocial, but I love her to pieces anyhow.

Cry  Thats the saddest and cruelest thing...... I watch montel williams and it was on the subject of animal abuse and the things people do to animals was just sick .Here are a couple of the stories, One man smash a squirriel with a bat he end up being a serial killer, another person just left their dog in a basement with no food or water and it died like six months later. I can't understand why people do this, it doesn't make sense to me.

SADLY MEAN IS JUST MEAN EVEN WHEN IT'S JUST KITTY CATS ON THE RECEIVING END.  I SURE WOULD NOT LIKE TO TELL GOD FACE TO FACE WHY I THOUGHT IT WAS OKAY TO TREAT ANY OF HIS CREATURES LIKE THAT.   Cry

What about rats and mice.... roaches?  termites.... ants? mosquitoes?  Are they not God's creatures? Then they should be left to their own devices right?

Just wanted to stir the pot a little....

As far as squirrels, they are evil and all need to die.

uhhh, coyote, the next time you cuddle up with your pet rats and mice.... roaches?  termites.... ants? mosquitoes? maybe you'll feel a little sad about their helplessness too..... I personally have never killed a rat, but I did cry when a little when the mouse board caught a couple of itty bitty mice and they got stuck to it - never killed a terminte, but am an amazon when it comes to ants and mosquitoes, so I suppose you have a point, but mosquitoes are just annoying!

(....do termites bite?)  Grin

Threadbear, look at the upper-righthand side of your keyboard. Is there a light on under or above the words "Caps Lock?" If so, please find a way to turn it off. Thank you.

Oklahoma Howdy to Threadbear,

Grin   Grin  Sister, this conversation is killin' me. I'm like Jerry Clower up in that tree with a mountain lion hollerin', "Shoot up here amongst us, one of us has to have some relief!"   Grin

Whoever wants them the worst can give us an address so that we can mail all of our bugs to them. I don't even know what some of the bugs are that I eradicate, but I'm absolutely positive that many of them cause nasty bites and inject poison.

Sapphire, I didn't know what that key was that says "Caps Lock".  THANKS, I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT.   Grin

Love In Christ,
Tom

Ohhhhh!  Caps Lock!!!!!
Well, blow me down!
I thought that was the key that kept my hat from falling off as I surfed the net!

Caps lock is what prevents the surf from peaking up and allowing one to catch the roll.
