I've heard that there are two types of people in the world, Addams Family fans and Munster fans. Which are you and why?

Oklahoma Howdy to Justme, I got to cast the first vote, and I voted for the Addams Family. You know that some of the younger folks don't even know what we're talking about, right? I watched it every now and then because it was funny. However, I would have to say that Andy Griffith was my favorite comedy. If you go back further in time, I would have to say Jack Benny or the Three Stooges. Woo! Woo! Woo!

I'm an Addam's Family fan too. Besides, who can resist doing the finger snaps when the theme comes on?
My all time favorite shows would be either I Love Lucy, Dick Van Dyke or Andy Griffith.
I used to be a caretaker for a lady who had Alzheimers. I would take her to a restaurant near my house called the Mayberry Cafe. They have all kinds of Andy Griiffith stuff there and they played the show on about 25 different tvs. It may it nice to take her out to eat because she had the patience of a child and would get impatient waiting for her food to be served. Watching the show would keep her entertained and I didn't have to worry about her trying to steal other people's food.

Oh dear...I shouldn't laugh, that woman couldn't help her behavior, but that made me smile... We're the Adams', so we've always had the "Addams' Family" as our theme...don't like the new movies that have come out, but the old shows were fantastic...

Definately Addams Family. Morticia is just so cool. I like Cousin Itt too! Never got into the Munsters as much. I just thought Gomez & the Addams Family as a whole had much better 1 liners & sense of humor. Speaking of Addams Family.......This pic is sorta uncanny & scary. Teehehe

I enjoy the Munsters, I see I am already out voted. I do agree with blackeyepeas I rather watch the 3 Stooges, or the Marx Brothers. Exit stage left in a mild panic.

When one of my girls are misbehaving, I call them Wednesday. But I really liked Grampa! Tough choice!

Munsters/Addams Family. I liked both for differing reasons.
I find the humor back then is better than what passes for most comedy now. That's a shame.
Nateycakes - that pictures a Hoot!!!.
Blackeyedpeas - Who'se your favorite Stooge??

Oklahoma Howdy to WolfBrother, It would definitely have to be Curly. He was a riot. Some of my favorite episodes all involve pie throwing, usually with the highly dignified getting a pie in the face. Many of the older comedies never had any bad language or a hint of anything dirty. I don't know why we can't have a few comics like that today. I did read about the creation of a new Christian television network that started on the East Coast. I can't remember the name of it, but the article said it was growing by the minute. It is variety programming with everything being completely clean and proper. Love In Christ, Tom

Is Daystar available on SkyAngel?
The comedies of days gone by were much better. Even the dramas of days gone by were better.
Addams Family still rules over the Munsters. I wish that TVLand would start showing both instead of just the Munsters that way people could see how much better the Addams Family really was.
