Is it just me, or does it seem like the Media is more upset about the treatment of the Iraqi Prisoners then they were about the treatment of US POWs or the slaughter or the contractors? "Oh, we expect that kind of behavior out of the Jawa's, but not the civilized Americans" Right...

Tibby,
No, you're not. They are. For their own reasons.

I absolutely agree. I understand the pics are less then "sensitive" but I think the media is making it a HUGE ordeal as they do everything...While we got 30 mins of attention as they dragged our dead soldiers thru the streets & even one pic of a decapitated Solider with them laughing & celebrating. Guess having them pose in a pic with humiliation is far worse then them glorifying our fallen soliders and having a celebration over our dead men & women. Sorry, Im a little upset. I come from a family of Marines and have a DEAR friend who is over there fighting. It angers me how the soliders are looking like the "bad guys" all the way around.

Oh, did anyone see the Hillary interview on Blitzer Reports yesterday? Guess who she blamed? Yeah, BUSH! I knew she was going to say it before she did, but I was still in shock that she would actually try such a blatant stunt! You don’t have to be a political Junky too see you are being manipulated, how can people be so stupid? Now, it’s a “scandal.” They love that word TOO much in CNN.

I don't like the media either. I wish I could just bring my tv outside and shoot it, but the wife won't let me However, the abuse of the Iraqi POWs is going to further motivate the enemy, which means they will fight harder, and more of our soldiers will die. So in my opinion any negative publicity is well deserved. (As long as the blame is placed on those who deserve the blame. Blaming someone so high up the chain of command, like Bush, is just an unscrupulous politcal move.)

I find the whole thing sickening. Yes, it is horrible what was shown in those pictures, but, like others have mentioned...what about how our soldiers and civilians who were dragged through the streets, tortured. What about our soldiers...and American civilians, who have been slain, tortured, and have not even made it to the "mighty" media(sacracasm on mighty). The whole thing is ridiculous. We are sentencing those involved in what happened in the Iraqi prision, yet, what about those Iraqi's who kill and torture, not only American's, but their own? Why have EVERYTHING so boldly shown across the screens of our tv's that is just bad? Why not show the good? I have family serving over there now...I have uncle's, grandparents, etc, that served our country in the Marine's, Navy and Army and Air Force.
It's like the media wants everyone against Bush, but at least he stood tall and took action when we were attacked so terribly. Gotta just love an election year...
No, two wrongs don't make a right...all we can do is pray for all involved. (and it seems to be all).
