What would you do with a million dollars??

I would give some of the money to a charity like Unicef or another fund working with people in poverty and use the rest to take friends and family on a big long trip. Then, with whatever remains I would pay for my college. How about you? Cheesy

If I was younger, and therefore, have no need for money, all of it would go to charity.

But now that I'm in my 20s and have bills to pay, I would keep some of the money, and hopefully, I can give large portion of it to charity.

Buy tons of presents for everyone. I'd pay off the debate of Centrel Baptist of Jacksonville, just out of spite(they have a REALLY HIGH debate for spending to much on a brand new church building) Grin

I'd buy my band all new instraments, all matching, with red to black sunburst on it all. I'd also look into the best lessons for my guys

I'd get tons to my church, of course.

I'd play off the next 8 years of college, maybe "donate" to some of the Profs in the classes I'm not doing so hot in Wink

My Girlfriend would be spoiled rotten. So would all my ex's, out of spite, again. Grin

I would get my self a Jap import, and open a legal drag racing circuit in my town.

Give lots to my town, really clean it up, help out the tons of downtroden folks, and build a honky-tonk to rival Billy Bob's, only it is focused on Blue Grass and Celtic and Folk. Also, give money for them to build that next lake (Lake Comubia, after the Shuttle that crashed in the area). and Clean up the old lake (Which is overrun with hydra, no room for Wake boarding any more!)

Man, I think I'd be in the red by then, wouldn't I? Grin

Hmmmm... if I had a million dollars... the Gov. would first take its slice of the pie... so with the remaining 700,000 I would take out the Lord's $ FIRST... then invest the remaining amount in the best investments possible... keeping diversity in mind... so I could continue to be a good steward... increasing my income... and thus increasing my ability to give unto the Lord... Cheesy

I think that if i had the $700,000,000(after the Govt gets their stingy share), i would visit 4 Bible Believing Christian Ministries and share my wealth with each of them!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           :)and yes, Crusader, i would contribute to your bookstore Wink

What country do you live in?  It's pretty odd that a government would add $699 million to your $1 million.  Cheesy

I would give some to Feed the Children, and a few other charities. Give some to my Mom and brother. Give away our house to a needy family, and move to Tenn. Buy a bunch of gift certifiactes to the local grocery store, go to a poor part of town, and stand outside the store, and give them away! hummm~~~ what else, gotta think!

Countrycat -
I've always wanted to stand on a street corner handing out $10 bills!  It just sounds like so much FUN!  Of course - I'd want to change corners (and disguises) every 10 minutes or so to avoid double-dippers!

Cool!   Grin

(Would that be considered sinful - to give away money to everyone who walks by whether they need it or not?  I bet somewhere in Proverbs it would list the practice in the "fools" catagory...)
