On the path to reconnecting with God I have been forced to question myself, who I am and what I have done in the past.  For me sometimes the past is to hard to look back on.  As a youngun I did some things that I was raised to believe where acceptable, now I find myself questing what I was taught to believe in.  I s there anyone who can help me get over the demons of the past?  The answer is no.  Aint nobody untainted, because once once you start talking about sinnen everyones tainted

You are correct. Everyone has whole closets full of skeletons, but there is nothing there that can't be forgiven by Jesus. Are you saying that you would like to have information about being saved and receiving forgiveness?

14:  Romans 4:24 NASB  but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,

15:  Romans 5:1  NASB  Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

16:  Romans 10:10  NASB  for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

17:  Romans 10:13  NASB  for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."

Dearest Sammy,
For me to be as humble and as grateful to God as I should be for His forgiveness of all my past sins I would have to plant my face in the dirt and pray without stopping until Jesus comes back for me.  He forgives AND He forgets....if we SINCERELY  repent of our sins.  Let Him love the demons right out of your life...If you only believe Him then He who is in you is Ever, Forever and Always Greater through His saving grace than ANY sin or shame you are carrying around.  Lay it down at His feet and praise God for second chances.    Oh and stop worrying about RELIGION  just practice FAITH.

Sammy you are not the only one that has done things that you regret. I am saved and I still do things that I look back on and say to my self why did I do that.  I come to God and ask for forgiveness and He forgives me.  Don't stay attached to the things that you have done in the past.  They weigh you down from moving forward.

Thoses that sincerely accept Jesus as Lord and savior have their sins forgiven.  He has forgiven them and forgot about them.  It is the evil one who keeps reminding us of our past in order to doubt that God could be so forgiving.  But He is that forgiving.  The next time one of those thoughts of your past pops up in your mind, remind yourself that Jesus forgave you and paid a great price because he loves you.
